The kitchen at work - a familiar sight that I won't see much longer since I'm moving from Studio F to Building 6 on main campus.

New office, new views, and new kitchen along with new coworkers and new job!

Kellen and Josie came over for dinner and cake tonight to (belatedly) celebrate Kellen's 20th birthday. Look at all the candles on that cake!

Can't believe I'm mom to a 20-year-old. How is that possible??

He's a wonderful young man, and I'm lucky to be his mom.

The wild mountain blackberries are ripening in the front yard. They are SO good. Almost makes me want to let them stay - but unfortunately, they'll take over the whole side yard eventually.

They're definitely staying until all the berries have ripened - and been eaten!

Cory did some chores today (dusted, swept up a bit, folded laundry with Mom, and washed a few windows) to earn the last few dollars he needed to buy his much-coveted Toy Story Lego set.

We made a special trip to Fred Meyer (though I threw in a few other errands along the way :P) to make the purchase. They even had a 10% off coupon for toys, so that covered the tax (I was going to spring for it otherwise).

He was so cute, handing over his wad of dollar bills (a $10 and a bunch of $1's) to the cashier, and then taking his bag and receipt. Very pleased with himself. And very happy to have his new toy to play with!

Niall is delighting in picking a few leaves from plants in our new little herb garden (in a pot on the deck) and chopping them up to include in a dish of chicken ramen.

A little fresh thyme, basil, oregano - just the thing!

Cory has been dying to buy Toy Story Legos ever since he saw that that's what I got his friend for his birthday Sunday. He's counted up his money, and wants to do some chores to earn the last $2 toward this particular set.

I wasn't sure how much they cost, so I promised the next time I was at Freddy's, I get the pricing info for him. Cameras come in handy. :-)

Lunch again with Kellen! This time we were both a little more pressed for time, so just swung by the cafeteria at work.

Two lunch visits in one week - very nice.
