Cory did some chores today (dusted, swept up a bit, folded laundry with Mom, and washed a few windows) to earn the last few dollars he needed to buy his much-coveted Toy Story Lego set.We made a special trip to Fred Meyer (though I threw in a few other errands along the way :P) to make the purchase. They even had a 10% off coupon for toys, so that covered the tax (I was going to spring for it otherwise).
He was so cute, handing over his wad of dollar bills (a $10 and a bunch of $1's) to the cashier, and then taking his bag and receipt. Very pleased with himself. And very happy to have his new toy to play with!
